Sebastiani Vineyards
One of the oldest wineries in Sonoma County, Sebastiani Vineyards incorporates both old and new in its Sonoma Valley Tasting Room. Sebastiani Vineyards is a large-volume producer and also high on quality across the board. Many artifacts from more than 100 years ago are on display, and some of the best Wine Country shopping for both knick-knacks and serious gifts.
Notables: While you can find many Sebastiani Vineyards wines distributed around the U.S., there's a nice selection of excellent wines only available here or in very limited distribution. Cab fans, splurge for a taste of the Cherryblock Cabernet Sauvignon, a serious Cab destined for greatness as it ages. There are a few tour options here: a historical tour at 11am, 1pm and 3pm daily ($5), and an open-air trolley tour through the town of Sonoma and past three of the Sebastiani vineyards at 2pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday ($7.50). Dog friendly, with ample "dog" parking outside.
