Charles M. Schulz - Sonoma County Airport
The Sonoma County Airport offers one of the easiest ways for travelers to visit wine country. Currently, travelers can fly Horizon Air/Alaska Airlines nonstop from Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Portland and Seattle to the main hub of Sonoma County, Santa Rosa. If you don't live in one of the above cities, don't worry, the airport is trying to expand its service to include Denver, Orange County, San Diego and Salt Lake City.
Notables: The Sonoma County Airport also serves as a hotbed for Snoopy merchandise. It's not called the Charles M. Schulz Airport for nothing. Visit the Airport’ s online store to get T-Shirts, ceramic mugs, and other items with that famous black and white dog, or visit the Airport Manager's office.
Another special feature at the Sonoma County Airport is the local artist exhibition. Currently, comic strips Charles Schulz are on display. You can see his work in the pre-boarding area of the airport while waiting for a departing flight.
