The Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival is a full weekend of fun and frolicking in and around the town of Sonoma, capped by a wild parade on Sunday with floats, marching bands, great costumes, fire engines, community groups, and wineries. Friday night kicks off the festival with a gala event with wine, food, and live music. The festival continues all day Saturday and Sunday in the Sonoma Plaza with live music, food, wine, grape stomp, firefighters water fight, 5K run/walk, arts and crafts booths and more. The Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival is California's oldest festival after the Rose Parade, this year will mark it's 115th year.

Bring a picnic or eat at any of the many Zagat rated restaurants along Sonoma Square. The Sonoma Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival is a very kid friendly festival. Lots of stuff for kids to do including 2 full playgrounds right in the Sonoma Square.
