Loxton Wines is located in Glen Ellen right next door to Wellington Vineyards on Dunbar Road. Chris Loxton once was the winemaker at Sonoma Cutrer, but has struck out on his own with great success with Loxton Wines.

The Loxton Wines' tasting room is located on prime real estate in Sonoma Valley. Even though the winery building isn't much to look at, the views and the laid back atmosphere make up for it. More than likely Chris Loxton will pour the wine for you and tell you anything you want to know about it. This is what makes a visit to Loxton Wines so special; the wine maker, and an expert at that, passionately talks about the process of wine making. All I can say is Chris Loxton has a character that really makes guest feel comfortable and at home no matter what your wine knowledge is. When you leave, you feel like you have a hip insider friend that owns a winery and makes award winning wines.
