NO EVENT THIS YEAR 2011

The No Chance Ranch Haunted House is a Sonoma County gem. Proprietors Steve and Linda Brady started the tradition about 8 years ago as a way to entertain their grandchildren during Halloween. So what started as a family party has now morphed into a good ol' haunted house and Halloween experience.

No Chance Ranch is in a wide open farming space on Llano Rd between Santa Rosa and Sebastopol. There is no doubt you get a feeling of what Sonoma County of the past feels like from this area. Steve and Linda are good folks who spend over 2 months prepping for the event, it's truly a labor of love. You know how it goes, when someone does something outstanding, "just for fun," you know it's going to be good! The care and fun spirit of the Brady's hard work is seen everywhere you look, you'll get a chuckle or two from some of the props they have put up. It's all in the name of good clean fun.

The highlight of course is the No Chance Ranch Haunted House which is located in an old barn. I am not going to spoil it for you, you're just going to have to go and see it for yourself. Let's just say Steve gets a great big belly laugh when he talks about people in the past getting scared out of their wits! Check out the video to get a little sample.

For the little ones (or fraidy cats) there is a "Chicken" house that is an alternative to the haunted house. It's a smaller barn area geared to small children, lots of cool Halloweenish items decorate the building, wavy mirrors, plastic skeletons, and a lot of very cool and goofy electronic Halloween novelty items..

The No Chance Ranch is completely decked out with a large array of Halloween decorations. There is also a hay ride, small pumpkin patch, hay pyramid, mock cemetery and other Halloween activities. In case you get a little hungry or thirsty there is a small snack bar with hot dogs ($2), popcorn($1), sodas, water, chips and more.

There is a little something for everyone at the No Chance Ranch Haunted House. This is a real authentic slice of Sonoma County, it's something worth enjoying and savoring.
