Sonoma County Museum
The Sonoma County Museum is devoted to collecting and exhibiting Sonoma County art, from the 19th, 20th and now the 21st century, with the inclusion of a video lounge within the museum to showcase artists working in this new medium.The Sonoma County Museum is also home to the largest collection of preparatory works by world-renown environmental artist Christo, who became famous in Sonoma County in the 1970s for his 24-mile fabric fence that he set up across the rolling hills.
